Every Bully is a Coward

Bullying is holding our world back.
Bullying is not just a problem in schools. Bullying is changing votes in congress, changing judges decisions and electing other bullies.
At its core, bullying is a search for denied power. We all want power over our own lives. In fact we do have this power. Unfortunately, many don’t realize the power over ourselves that we have and try to fill that need to experience power with efforts to have power over others. No matter how much power we have over others, the only power that ever satisfies our need for power is accepting the power we’ve always had over ourselves. When we consciously accept our power over ourselves, we no longer lust for power over others.
Every bully is a coward. They are afraid of the weakness they feel due to denying power over themselves. Any time we deny the truth we are weakened, Bullies are afraid to acknowledge the fear of feeling out of control of themselves. That denied fear often gives birth to rage and bullying.
The more we consciously accept our own fear of not being in control of ourselves, the less that fear controls us; the less that denied fear forces us to be a bully. We can heal bullying in ourself and others by acknowledging the fear of being out of control in our life. The more we accept that fear, the more that fear is healed and the more we become aware and accepting of the power we’ve always had over ourselves and by extension our life.
As I increasingly exercise my power over myself, I find myself sharing wisdom that is part of me. The truth and light of that wisdom, including this article, resonates with more and more people. While I have no desire to control people, I am happy that my example inspires others to take greater control of their own thinking and lives. It’s that acceptance of our own power and responsibility that is an inspiring example that reduces bullying. It takes courage to heal our fear through acceptance. Yet, that is the courage needed to heal bullying.
The more each of us accepts our power over ourself, the more bullying in the world is healed.
