There are so many “versions” of what is true, how are we to determine which to believe?
I believe in adopting and acting on thoughts that are imbued with the experience/emotion I want more of.
If I have a thought accompanied by feelings of love, acting on that thought will grow the experience of love in my life. Conversely, if I act on a thought borne out of desperation, acting on that thought, believing in that thought, will increase my experience of desperation in my life.
Because the thoughts I embrace create my life, I choose to believe in and act on thoughts that give me greater control of my life and the world I live in. I choose thoughts that give me a greater experience of love, laughter and peace. Blaming others creates a life I don’t want, so I abstain from that.
Believing a thought is true makes it true for us. I choose to believe in kind loving, uplifting thoughts. I have changed my thinking a great deal to accepting more personal responsibility and create more love and laughter in my life. If you’re interested in changing your thinking for the better, let me know. I can help. scott@friedmanfinancial.com www.thoughtcoachingbyscott.com
